I hope that all
of you are having a wonderful spring, wherever you
have traveled. When we left FMCA at Perry, GA, are
plans were to head west, because the next Monaco
International pre-rally- Oregon Hee Ha Ho Down is in
Salem, OR in August. We had time to sight see on
the way west, and living the lifestyle that most of
us do living and traveling in motor homes we do have
choices where we travel.
The weather in
Georgia was beautiful and we decided to stay around
the area for a couple of weeks. All the spring
flowers were in bloom, and the area was abundant
with purples, lavenders, pinks, and yellow flowers.
One problem with all this beauty & I am sure you can
all relate to is POLLEN.
We are on the
road again, working on rallies while we travel,
wondering what can be done to improve our rallies.
I would like you
all to remember, that our main purpose for Monaco
International is to have fun rallies. To make new
acquaints and renew your friendships from previous
rallies. To have fun rallies we need to have good
rally attendance. We always welcome all you 1st
timers, which usually make up about 1/3 of the
attendees, please continue to attend other rallies.
We always need to increase our membership, so when
you meet Monaco owners, who do not belong to Monaco
International, please invite them to join.
To have good
attendance at rallies, we all try to have good
entertainment, lots of seminars for you to attend,
great food, and a sufficient number of vendors that
will appeal to you. We are having a problem getting
a lot of different vendors for you, and one of the
problems with vendors, is that they feel that they
do not get enough participation from our members.
So next time you attend a rally, please try and give
our vendors your support, because we do need vendors
at our rallies. Also we need to support Monaco Coach
Corp, as they bring service techs to service our
coaches, and also new coaches for us to look at and
purchase, and also financial support. Without
Monaco’s support, we could not hold these kinds of
rallies.
We do try new
things and in Macon, The Brightons tried a salad bar
every night, and it was very well received.
Remember, we now have a Monaco
International web site. A public web site, and a
private web site. An invitation has gone out to all
our members from the web master to join the private
web site.
Over 500 have signed up, so for all
the rest of you please do not hesitate to join the
private site. The public
web site is
www.MonacoInternationalRVClub.com
Have you signed up for the next
Monaco International pre-rally yet, which is the
Oregon Hee Ha Ho Down, in Salem, Oregon, August
7,8,9,10,2007? Your rally
masters, Terry & Donna Walters, have planned great
entertainment, lots of seminars, and they are having
International Catering doing the food.
If you do not have an application
yet, just pull it from our new web site. If you do
not have access to a computer, call 602 625 2880,
and we will mail you one.
See you there.
